Polina is a Tax Manager in GTM’s New York Metro office. Her area of practice is ASC 740 tax provision computations with a focus on automation and process improvement, as well as federal and state compliance. She has extensive experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax, and GoSystems.
Prior to joining GTM, Polina worked at Novartis (East Hanover, NJ), where she was heavily involved in the quarterly and annual tax provision process under IFRS and US GAAP standards, which included consolidations, supporting calculations, tax account reconciliations, and journal entries. Additionally, she was responsible for proforma tax returns for a selection of consolidated groups’ entities and assisted with the elimination process.
Her previous experience includes public accounting at PwC’s Florham Park, NJ, office, where Polina worked on a variety of engagements, including preparation and audits of income tax provisions, as well as preparation of federal and state returns for multinational public companies.
Polina was born in Kiev, Ukraine, grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and currently resides in Marlboro, NJ. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, trips with her two children, and DIY projects around her house.
