As Chief Marketing Officer, Mary leads the strategic development and execution of the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives to drive exponential growth for GTM. She actively works with management, the firm’s team of directors, and all service lines to create a unified GTM voice and brand presence. A primary responsibility of her role is to direct all internal and external communications, including the company’s web presence, public relations, publications, thought leadership, advertising, client and prospect events, and branding. Mary develops strategies and targeted programs to maximize and measure marketing investments, and partners with the firm’s leadership to increase GTM’s visibility in targeted geographic regions.
Mary has nearly 20 years of high-performing, creative marketing experience with a successful track record leading the execution of marketing projects and programs for professional services organizations. Prior to joining GTM, Mary served as Vice-President, Marketing & Sales at PM Solutions, a project management consulting and training company. Notable accomplishments during her last two years with the firm included leading marketing activities that directly contributed to 30% of the company’s revenue from new business acquisitions, generating several million in revenue directly from inbound web inquiries, and growing its database of qualified prospects by nearly 90%.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Project Management Institute (PMI). Mary has authored a chapter for The American Management Association’s AMA Handbook of Project Management focused on applying project management principles to the marketing function, and written multiple articles and blog posts. Her work on GTM’s elevator pitch training program to help develop a concise company narrative that employees could comfortably and confidently deliver on a consistent basis earned a Silver Quill Award of Excellence from IABC.
In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exercising whenever she can fit it in, and watching anything on HGTV.
