Ryan is a Senior Tax Manager within GTM’s State and Local (SALT) practice. He manages state and local income tax compliance projects of varying sizes while ensuring compliance with state tax laws. While compliance is his primary focus, he works with GTM’s clients to identify potential tax-saving opportunities that can often be incorporated into current income tax returns. Ryan also monitors state legislative changes and related guidance to ensure clients are aware of any recent changes that may impact their business.
Prior to joining GTM, Ryan worked at DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. (DMA) before the practice joined GTM in 2025. He spent the entirety of his career in the state and local tax area, with over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. He has managed all areas of the state and local income tax function, including compliance, provision, and audit defense. Ryan also has experience with tax planning initiatives, nexus studies, voluntary disclosure agreements, and federal and indirect tax compliance.
Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, PA, Ryan currently resides in Bethlehem Township, PA, with his wife, Dena, and his miniature dachshund, Finley. In his spare time, he enjoys trying out new and interesting restaurants and traveling. He is also a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.
