As GTM’s Chief Financial Officer, Mark leads the firm’s finance function, including accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis, treasury, tax, systems, and partners with the executive team to ensure GTM’s financial infrastructure keeps pace with the firm’s growth.
Mark brings nearly 20 years of finance and accounting leadership to GTM, including eight years in CFO roles at global professional services organizations. He previously served as CFO of IP House, a global professional services firm focused on intellectual property. As the organization’s first full-time finance hire, he built the finance department from the ground up, integrated numerous acquisitions, and established policies, controls, and reporting to support the company’s initial phase. He also led the international rollout of NetSuite, emphasizing automation across payroll, payables and reporting.
Prior to IP House, Mark spent 12 years at International SOS, a global health and security services organization, advancing from FP&A Manager to Chief Financial Officer of MedAire and later CFO of the company’s Americas Assistance Services business. Across those roles he built out finance teams, managed global tax and compliance agendas, streamlined processes across multiple regions, and delivered significant margin improvement through restructuring and cost discipline. Earlier in his career he had both accountant and financial analyst roles, building a foundation in pricing, financial modeling, and general ledger management.
Outside of work, Mark spends most of his time with his family playing sports, fishing and hiking. Additionally he enjoys trying new restaurants and comparing notes on the best cheesesteak in the city.
