Michael is a Manager of GTM’s Property Tax division, based out of the firm’s Wayne headquarters. He has over 23 years of tax experience, primarily in state and local tax compliance and review.
Prior to joining GTM, Michael worked for a regional tax consulting firm focusing on personal property tax compliance and review for large scale clients. He has property tax experience with leasing companies, manufacturing, retail, as well as telecommunications, and others. Michael has also worked for a national tax consulting firm in the state and local income tax arena where he focused on compliance and tax reviews for fortune 1000 corporations. Previously, he worked for a large energy wholesaler on state and local returns as well as Motor fuels excise tax returns.
Michael holds an undergraduate degree from Southern New Hampshire University and is a current member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT). He has successfully completed IPT’s Property Tax School and Intermediate Personal Property Tax School, as well as IPT’s Real Property Tax School. In addition, he has formal training with both Corptax and PTMS software.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys being with his wife and 2 dogs, sports, camping, music and concerts.
