Andrew is a Managing Director within GTM, serving the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He specializes in providing federal, state, and international tax services to multinational corporations in a variety of industries. He is especially well-versed in working with U.S.-based multinational companies on cross-border transactions, including the U.S. tax implications of international taxation.
Andrew joined GTM after spending more than a decade with a Big 4 firm in Pittsburgh, where he focused on international tax and global tax compliance. During his tenure there, he led a variety of complex engagements resulting in tax savings for clients, including Subpart F planning, restructuring of intercompany debt, and restructuring assistance. Andrew also practiced in the Big 4 firm’s transfer pricing group for several years, during which he engaged in all aspects of transfer pricing documentation and planning.
In addition to his public accounting experience, Andrew served as a Tax Attorney for a Pittsburgh-based Fortune 500 publicly traded company. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of state and local tax assistance and indirect tax matters.
Andrew is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association — Taxation Section, Allegheny Tax Society, and Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also a Board Member at 412 Food Rescue, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit helping to address the disconnect between food waste, hunger, and environmental sustainability. He is a frequent speaker for several organizations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Andrew resides in Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife and their two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, coaching baseball, traveling, and rooting for Pittsburgh’s sports teams.
