Sarah is a Principal within GTM’s State and Local (SALT) practice, specializing in all aspects of tax analysis and preparation related to state and local income and franchise taxes for both domestic and foreign corporations. She is dedicated to delivering accurate regulatory compliance across all 50 states while working closely with clients to reduce tax liability and exposure. Sarah also supports clients through various co-sourcing models, tailoring her approach to meet each organization’s specific compliance needs.
Sarah brings over 20 years of experience in state income and franchise tax, including as part of her tenure at DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. (DMA), before the practice joined GTM in 2025. She has managed the complete tax function for large corporations and their subsidiaries and has held positions at public accounting firms and within the industry, where she was responsible for international, federal, and state and local compliance, as well as complex tax research.
Sarah’s experience spans a wide range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, and retail. She is proficient in Corptax and ONESOURCE and actively participates in tax seminars and conferences, where she also presents on federal and state and local tax topics. Sarah is a member of the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
