Kayla is a Manager within GTM’s Lead Tax Practice, based out of the firm’s North Carolina office. She primarily focuses on corporate interim and year-end tax provisions in addition to federal, state, and international income tax compliance. She also assists clients with income tax audits and inquiries, prepares tax account reconciliations, and performs tax research and planning.
Kayla creates, improves, and implements tax procedures and processes with a strong focus on team integration, collaboration, and management. She is also proficient in the use of ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) and ONESOURCE Income Tax Compliance (OIT) software.
Prior to joining GTM, Kayla was a Supervisor in RSM’s Federal Business Tax department where she provided both federal and state and local tax consulting and compliance services for a variety of businesses. Specifically, she specialized in large multinational businesses in the manufacturing and industrial goods, consumer products, and technology industries.
In addition, Kayla assisted in overseeing several offices in RSM’s southeast region to support the adoption and use of technology and processes to improve efficiencies and client service.
Kayla resides in Wilmington, North Carolina with her fiancé, daughter, and tuxedo cat. She enjoys reading, coffee, yoga, spending time with her friends and family, and relaxing by the water.
