  • Review complex consolidated and standalone corporate federal and state income tax returns, including unitary and combined filings
  • Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions
  • Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and provision
  • Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries
  • Manage several client engagements concurrently from beginning to end, including preparation of scope, budget, resource needs, etc.
  • Develop, train, motivate, and mentor seniors and staff
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, deadlines are met, and proactively lead change efforts

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA or Master’s Degree in Taxation preferred
  • 5+ years experience in tax accounting, working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environment
  • Detailed knowledge of ASC 740 (FAS 109 and FIN 48) and related tax accounting guidance

We are currently seeking an established and self-motivated Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join our growing International Tax team.  The International Tax Manager will be responsible for managing GTM’s client service matters in the international tax area while also building and growing our practice in this area.

The ideal candidate will have had 5+ years of experience in international corporate taxation and will serve as an international tax advisor and be responsible for working with and assisting multi-national clients understand any potential tax planning opportunities and helping them comply with U.S. and international compliance requirements.

Job Description:

GTM is currently seeking a Tax Automation Services (TAS) Manager for our Wayne office.  The Tax Automation Services Manager will oversee the functional and technical direction of projects, including the implementation of tax automation software and related processes, requirements analysis, tax process design and configuration.

GTM’s TAS department is a client facing team that provides tax technology consulting services to the market, most commonly focused on corporate income taxes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement technology to support corporate tax departments, including ONESOURCE, Corptax, Longview, Vertex and other systems

Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence & Prospect Identification

Internal Communications

  • Assist with the preparation of new hire orientation materials
  • Assist with clean-up and formatting of internal and external PowerPoint presentations

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
