WAYNE, Pa. (June 18, 2021) — Corporate tax services firm Global Tax Management (GTM) has been named among the Philadelphia region’s healthiest employers for the third consecutive year by The Philadelphia Business Journal. The annual Healthiest Employers report, which evaluates wellness programs in the workplace, recognizes GTM for its creativity and innovation in expanding its wellness program virtually, as well as for its specific offerings and high participation rate. GTM ranked second among companies in the small business category.
GTM ties incentives to its wellness program, giving employees financial motivation to participate in annual biometric screenings and activities that earn them points towards the reduction of their medical premium. Even through a challenging year, its dedicated Health and Wellness Committee kept employees engaged virtually throughout the year with activities include walking challenges and classes fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness; and a unique herb garden challenge. GTM also contributes $250 to employees’ annual gym memberships and offers employees access to monthly personal training sessions, health coaching, and nutrition counseling.
Nearly 54% of employees are currently active in GTM’s wellness program, with 94.2% of those in the low-risk category.
