RADNOR, Pa. (December 9, 2014) — Global Tax Management, Inc. (GTM) has been named among the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for the second consecutive year, ranking #18 in the Small/Medium Companies category. The awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide rankings of its kind in the country and mirrors the Forbes national rankings. The program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. The 2014 rankings were announced on December 4, 2014 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster.
The 2014 Best Places to Work list represents companies with just over 35,700 employees throughout Pennsylvania, and is broken down into two categories: small and medium-sized firms (25 to 250 employees) and large-size companies (251 employees or more). Winners achieved the highest scores in a review of a company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics (25 percent); and from the results of an employee survey to measure their work experience (75 percent).
“This ranking is a testament not only to the talented and hard-working people at our organization, but also to our long-standing corporate culture of building community within and outside of our company,” said managing director, Joseph DiBianca. “We stay connected as a team socially, volunteering together to help those less fortunate and taking part in charities such as Autism Speaks, where our team has raised more than $100,000 over the last six years. And, as a 100% employee-owned company, our entire team collectively shares in our success.”
GTM, one of just five Radnor firms to make this year’s Small/Medium Companies list, is attracting top talent in recent months, welcoming nearly a dozen new members to their team in Q4 2014 alone. According to executives, GTM recently hit a significant growth spurt, increasing revenues by 20% last year and projecting a growth rate in excess of 20% for 2014.
