Global Tax Management (GTM), a professional services firm focused exclusively on delivering corporate tax services, announced today that its GTM Training Institute has launched a new, intermediate level corporate tax provision learning program designed for more experienced in-house tax and finance professionals who want to expand their corporate tax provision skills. Registration is now open. Classes begin on November 2, 2023.
Intermediate Corporate Tax Provision – ASC 740 is comprised of 10 online classes, each 75-minutes in length, which are held every other week over the course of 20 weeks with live instructors and special guest lecturers. The program also includes office hours with instructors on alternating weeks. Participants who complete the program can earn up to 15 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
The program builds upon the foundational concepts covered in GTM Training Institute’s popular Corporate Tax Provision Fundamentals program to help tax and finance department professionals calibrate the professional judgment needed to address the often-complex income tax provision process with a mix of example computations and shared experiences.
This latest course offering reflects GTM Training Institute’s continued commitment to adding new programs and course options that meet the educational needs of in-house tax and finance professionals at all skill levels. Intermediate Corporate Tax Provision – ASC 740 is ideal for experienced tax department team members with ASC 740 preparation responsibilities; professionals with financial reporting duties seeking a deeper understanding of tax reporting; and tax and accounting department professionals with income tax provision review and sign-off responsibilities.
