A Message from GTM’s CEO In Response to COVID-19

COVIWith the health and safety of our employees, clients, suppliers, business colleagues, and communities being paramount, I wanted to share the measures GTM has currently put in place as the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation continues. In order to minimize exposure risk and still maintain the highest level of service to our clients, we have:

  • Established a protocol providing general guidelines on how we will address the impact of COVID-19 in each of our localities. We will be looking to federal, state, county and local health officials for appropriate guidance specific to each community. Since the intensity of an outbreak may differ according to geographic location, we will attempt to coordinate with local health officials issuing guidance specific to their communities.
  • Advised all employees to work from home until further notice. Mobility and the ability to work from anywhere have already been the norm for the majority of GTM personnel. All employees are equipped with laptops, secure remote access to GTM systems, and cloud-based programs that allow us to pivot quickly into a remote workforce setup with minimal disruption to our daily activities. An emergency contact system is also in place should the situation escalate to warrant rapid alerts.
  • Halted all non-essential business travel, and strongly encouraged that in-person meetings be rescheduled or done electronically. Communications technologies and infrastructure investments already in place allow us to stay connected via multiple channels without direct contact.
  • Postponed external live events in all our service territories. Our Corporate Tax Fundamentals CPE program will now be delivered as a webinar series in April.

Throughout the course of this very different operating environment in which we find ourselves, GTM remains committed to providing uninterrupted service to our clients safely. We appreciate the continued support of our clients and are ready to assist in any way we can to help manage through this situation together.
