Webinar: Creating a “Closed Loop” Sales & Use Tax Compliance Process Through Automation

James Ford
Managing Director, SALT
Webinar Date:

Sales and Use Tax Compliance is a data-intensive exercise. Every month during the close cycle, you need to quickly summarize, compare and transform data from multiple sources in the fastest, most accurate way possible. After data is prepped, returns need to be prepared; checks must be cut; and ACH payments must be uploaded and executed. Once that’s complete, accounts must be reconciled, and any adjustments must be rolled forward to the next month.

This is a time- and labor-intensive exercise that’s prone to errors and inaccuracies. And worse: companies go through this process 12 times per year, and only have approximately 12 days a month to complete it.

Automating this process can help. During this webinar, Jim Ford, GTM’s Managing Director, SALT Sales & Use Tax Compliance, will take a high-level look at an approach that automates Sales and Use Tax Compliance from end to end, starting with the General Ledger data and linking back up with GL Accounts. Attendees will leave the webinar with a clear understanding of how they can streamline the sales and use tax compliance process at their own organizations
