Erica Stefanik

Erica is a Director within GTM’s State & Local Tax (SALT) practice, based out of the firm’s Philadelphia Metro office. She specializes in indirect tax from a technical and technological standpoint to deliver streamlined reverse audits, audits, detailed purchase reviews, and general tax technical consulting services.

Since joining GTM in 2016, Erica has been instrumental in guiding clients through various stages of state refund and consulting engagements. She has a strong track record of providing practical solutions to indirect tax challenges. She also leads the team with a monthly use tax review process that helps clients across industries mitigate risk and maximize savings. Demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and skill development, Erica is actively pursuing her CMI designation in sales and use tax.

Erica has worked with the indirect (sales & use) tax group to support clients in various stages of state refund and audit engagements. In addition, she supports the use tax review process for many different clients which automates and reviews purchases to comply with use tax due to various states. Erica delivers impeccable customer service by finding the most efficient ways to complete indirect tax tasks and improve tax processes. Her project management expertise, organizational skills, technical acumen, and attention to detail help GTM clients across a wide variety of industry sectors to reduce risk and achieve maximum savings.

Outside of GTM, Erica lives with her husband and three children in King of Prussia, PA. She spends most of her time with family and friends. She loves to be outdoors and at the beach in her spare time.
