John Williams

John is a Managing Director in GTM’s Wayne, PA office with extensive knowledge of federal, state and local, and international tax compliance. He prepares and reviews financial statement calculations and workpapers for multinational clients in the chemical and manufacturing industries.

Joining GTM in 2010, John brings over eighteen years of corporate taxation experience. His technical specialties and broad skill set have greatly contributed to the satisfaction of the firm’s clients. He serves as an active mentor for his GTM peers and other colleagues.

Prior to joining GTM, John spent twelve years at Deloitte, where he was a Senior Manager in the lead tax services practice, serving the manufacturing, professional services, and retail industries. John managed Deloitte’s implementation of corporate electronic standardized work papers that has been accepted as a “best practice” for the firm. He has a wide array of experience with ASC 740 accounting, FIN 48 implementation, and financial reporting for public and private entities, including managing and assisting clients’ tax departments in a team atmosphere through co-sourcing engagements.

John currently resides in Media, PA, with his wife and daughter. He enjoys participating in extracurricular sports and, in his free time, enjoys movies and attending sporting events.
