Martin Lee

Supervising Senior Tax Analyst

Martin is a Supervising Senior Tax Analyst within GTM’s State & Local Tax (SALT) practice. Since joining GTM, Martin has worked on various research and compliance projects including unitary analyses and nexus studies, while preparing and reviewing multistate corporate income tax returns. He is also responsible for updating quarterly summaries of changes in state tax legislation and summarizing updates of the recently enacted CARES Act and its impact on state taxation for GTM and its clients. Prior to joining GTM, Martin worked at Deloitte Tax, LLP as a Tax Senior in the Multistate Tax practice working with various clients including multistate income tax compliance for C-corps, partnerships, large private equity and hedge funds. He has also worked on state audits, voluntary disclosure agreements, and various state sales and use tax issues. Martin and his wife moved to Pittsburgh in 2011. His wife is an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat) surgeon at UPMC. They have a son, Noah, who enjoys biking and playing soccer. They have two sheepadoodle (Old English sheepdog and poodle mix) puppies; Pax who 8 months old, and Ruth who is 4 months old. Martin rowed at Northwestern and continues to enjoy rowing with the Three Rivers Rowing Association in Pittsburgh. He is also part of a 12-person relay team that runs the 199-mile Hood-to-Coast relay race.
