Christine Funkhouser

Managing Director & Chief Revenue Officer

Christine is a Managing Director at GTM and serves as Chief Revenue Officer, focusing on sales growth, business development, brand expansion, and marketing collaboration across all practices and markets for the firm.

Christine served as interim Tax Director at one of the firm’s leading multinational clients, providing hands-on tax department management services including ASC 740, corporate tax compliance, and due diligence. She works with clients in a variety of industries, most notably within the insurance and banking sectors.

Her leadership of tax operations for many of GTM’s middle market clients with little to no in-house tax department led to her championing a Managed Tax Services (MTS) outsourcing model for the firm. This model provides companies with an integrated, cost-effective approach to outsourcing any or all tax department functions.

In addition to leading the firm’s growth as Chief Revenue Officer and her work with clients, Christine also leads GTM’s Women’s Networking Committee, a group dedicated to mentoring, leadership development, and special events focused on upward mobility of women. She is a frequent speaker for the Philadelphia Chapter of the Financial Managers Society (FMS) where she served on the board and as past president. She is also a member of AICPA, PICPA, Forum of Executive Women, the Drexel Alumni Association, and Beta Alpha Psi.

Prior to joining GTM, Christine spent seven years in the corporate tax department of KPMG in Philadelphia, where she specialized in delivering tax provision and compliance services to financial institutions. Over the years, she assisted more than 50 banks with tax planning and effective tax rate management services.

Christine was raised in the Philadelphia area and now resides in Newtown Square, PA with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys seeking out new adventures with her sons.
